  • Ensure that the surface should be free from dust, oil, grease, paints, loose foreign particles /materials and curing agents which may affect adhesion.
  • Wet the surface before application without leaving excess water.
Mixing
Add 165 ml of clean water into a bucket and gradually transfer 1 kg of NCL Masonry glue 110 in it. Mixing can be done manually or slow speed electrical mixer. The mixing is to be done till it forms a lump free homogenous mix and to attain the water percentage 16 to 20%. If required, add extra water to obtain uniform paste. Leave the dough for 5 minutes for polymerization. Do not keep the dough under direct sunlight.
Application
Apply a thin layer of the above dough by using notching trowel in the thickness of 3 to 4 mm (or client requirement) on the clean and levelled surface on which the block work is to be carried out, fix the block on the laid glue in a proper line and level. On the first block apply the glue of the same 3-4mm thickness on both horizontal and vertical joint of the block and continue laying the brick with 3-4mm thickness of glue and keep a check in the wall levels.
Shelf life
12 months
Storage
Store in a moisture-free dry place.
Precautions
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Keep in a dry place.
  • Avoid inhalation of dust.
  • If it comes in contact with eyes or you feel skin irritation, wash with plenty of plain water and consult a doctor.
Do’s
  1. The level from base to the top layer should be properly horizontal.
  2. There should not be any gap between the joints of AAC blocks.
  3. Bottom layer of AAC block should be properly laid, so that no gaps should come in between otherwise the blocks would crack.
  4. The lentil should be placed after every 5 to 6 layers of AAC blocks or 6 m length to avoid cracks. It should be placed on a complete block.
  5. Storage on dry and even surface to avoid damage and contact with moisture.
  6. Before application – wet the block.
  7. Use self curing block mortar with 3 to 4 mm thickness only and notching is mandatory.
  8. Use a tool like hacksaw or rotary cutter.
  9. Should rest on full block.
Don’ts
  1. Do not use a rich mortar mix as it tends to shrink & might crack.
  2. Do not flood the brick with water.
  3. Do not construct a wall without coping the beam.
  4. Do not stack the blocks in haphazard manner or leave them exposed to rain or moisture.
  5. Do not use tools like hammer, chisel etc. to cut the block.
